Our third fixture against Elekta developed into quite a nail-biter with Elekta coming very close to our target on a very dry and bouncy pitch, which made batting quite tricky. Elekta also helped out with the loan of three players. Paul and Mark initially found scoring very hard scoring at only 4 an over for the first 8 overs. But Mark took a liking to the 2nd change bowler, scoring 4 consecutive 4's before retiring, which boosted the rate a fair bit. Our bowling effort was spearheaded by a magnificent spell by Terence who was virtually unplayable and took five wickets, with some devestating yorkers. The Elekta tail wagged impressively to get them remarkably close and the pressure led to David bowling two wides in the final over (a very rare event), but we kept our nerve and chalked up another victory.
