Notes

We hired the council ground in Reigate Priory Park. Apart from it being expensive, having no changing facilities, being marked out for kids (1 yard short) and being very uneven, it was splendid! Roy O'Neil and Stuart Butterfield made their debut for us against a Guildford team, who were as usual a fair bit more talented than us. None the less we acquitted ourselves reasonably well, with Mark A having an especially good match: three James Foster inspired stumpings, and a really stylish innings, cut short by an unfortunate run-out (with Jon at the other end). Hopefully we'll get a chance to see the positive effects of Tim's one-to-one batting coaching later in the season!
