An early start (some of the opposition wanted to go and watch a football match later!) on a sunny evening led to a very pleasant match. The outfield was very slow (a damp May causing a soft conditions with lots of grass). We had Elekta in some trouble courtesy of good bowling and better than average fielding (for us), but they batted especially well in the latter overs to reach a total that was probably worth 120 in "normal" circumstances. Our batting never really got going and although we kept wickets in hand we weren't able to accelerate, indeed the scoring almost stopped at one stage.
