The inaugural Redhill vs Guildford match, featuring debuts by Jason Chadwick and Matthew Brown. Unfortunately, our performance in the field was pretty poor, with plenty of fumbles, drops and calamities, topped by the mid-wicket collision between Angus (bowler) and Andy (keeper) both heading for the same catch; we both called, but neither was listening! As a result, Guildford posted a challenging total which a slow and steady start against tight bowling made even more difficult. None the less, once they warmed up, Jon and David started to score heavily, and Matthew continued the charge so that we got respectably close.
