Notes

Richard took over as captain at short notice from the ill David F and led us to a rare victory. We fielded well, including another Paul G run-out and the bowling was solid, except for Andy's off (non)spin which was harshly treated by one of their batsmen. As a result L&G posted a stiff but getable target. The batting was a good all round effort with Paul G and Carl scoring the majority of the runs, well assisted by Richard, David K and Mark. The match was played in a good spirit with the L&G captain generously giving 9 of his team a bowl.
