It rained very hard about a hour before this match, so the wicket at West Green was probably best described as a "sticky dog" or some such term! Crawley Falcons gamely leant us two of the their players as we only had nine, but at 12-7 at the start of the sixth over it didn't look like the match would last long. Fortunately our tail (lead by Carl) wagged enough to get us past 50 and when the Falcons batted, the conditions (and our skilled bowling) gave them a decent challenge.
